The International Geothermal Association’s global meeting, held every five years, found a home in Melbourne in 2015, with more 93 per cent of the 1600 delegates attending from outside of Australia. Arinex also managed keynote speaker arrangements, coordination of more than 50 administrative meetings, management of the conference dinner, management of the budget, and sponsorship and exhibition sales. Arinex was appointed as the Professional Conference organizer for the 2012 FICPI Combined World Congress and excl Meeting, held in Melbourne in April, and was responsible for managing all aspects of the meeting, including the social and accompanying persons programs, optional tours, registration and accommodation bookings. This was very effective in ensuring the mainly international delegation was well taken concern of at all times. Through the firm work of the Arinex team and the organizing Committee, not only did our symposium confront all its targets and time line, but it also broke many records: the largest number of delegates, the largest exhibition and the largest sponsorship funding of all ANZFSS symposia so far. The Inaugural International Advance Care Planning Conference was a resounding success, with almost all the AC’s objectives achieved and exceeded, including a 50 increase in expected delegate attendance.
