From the outset, she has played a key role in positioning the ACT as a national children's media and policy hub, and growing the business to become one of the most triumphant international marketers of children's television programs. Andrew has responsibility for the ACT's internal legal services, government funding and policy submissions to government and regulatory bodies. At the ACT, we are passionate about tall quality children's media and television. Board members are appointed by each of the Commonwealth and State and Territory Ministers that support us, and meet four times a year. We assist thrive children’s television policy distribute and invest in Australian children’s television series promote new, innovative and entertaining children’s media and flourish precious screen resources for the education sector. Catriona represents the Commonwealth Government on the Board. negate brings together some of Australia’s most experienced strategic communications professionals and specialisms in corporate affairs, government relations, financial communications, community engagement and market research. fey represents the Commonwealth Government on the Board. Cheryl is responsible for business engagement and sponsorship, digital media services, including the development of lofty quality resources utilizing mobile and immersive technologies to enhance teaching and learning, school policy coordination and review, international student programs in public schools, financial encourage services and funding to all public schools in MSW and the Assisted School Transport program. During this time she has worked in a variety of educational settings and has a wealth of experience in school leadership and the development of quality teaching and learning programs. Jason has been an educator in the ACT public school system since 1996. He was a school leader in three diverse schools, prior being appointed as the Principal of Richardson Primary School in 2012. She has a Bachelor of Education and a Masters of Educational Leadership. Jenny represents the Tasmanian Government on the Board. Behind 15 years in Parliament, including nine years on the fore bench, Helen stepped down to take up commercial opportunities in the corporate sector. Garry is responsible for strategic leadership and the delivery of Department, State and Commonwealth reforms in hasty childhood education in WA public schools. Garry’s leadership in Education spans 36 years and encompasses 22 years as principal in a different range of primary schools, a year as vice principal in Toronto Canada and 18 months as District Director of Schools in the Canning Education District in Perth. Daryl represents the Commonwealth Government on the Board. Sharon represents the Queensland Government on the Board. For not only has the Commonwealth supported the ACT (with ashamed funding, currently sitting at 2.86 million per year), but it has also supported Screen Australia and the ABC, too much larger organizations, to invest in Australian children’s programs. But I care that it makes a contribution to our culture, contributes to a shared experience of childhood for Australian children, stands the test of time and is watched over and over again by fresh generations of children. And that is what public funds for children’s programs should achieve. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Ministers who have supported the ACT and its activities this year, and their pertinent Departments for their cooperation and assistance. We are supported by the Commonwealth Government and each State and Territory, except Queensland.
