After managing the Allan’s city store for 10 years, an ambitious Danny GauciSeddon decided to begin his own music store. He wanted his shop to save the values of true urge and after sales service, and to form genuine ongoing relationships with his customer base. He established an address in Johnson St Fitzroy as the arts were booming on the north side of the city. The Mannys brand was known for knowledge and service, with the staff greatly sought after for their experience. He took the superior from both stores and moved his operation to the hub of music and musicians just north of the city. While the essence of Mannys Music will perpetual exist, our mission for Mannys Music moving forward is to ensure that we continue to construct the ultimate experience for our customers online or in store. Our sales staff continue knowledgeable, professional musicians beginning and sales people second. Steve is Mannys keyboard specialist an avid collector of synths and a seasoned session musician, you can find him grazing in his natural habit of the keyboard department. Steve has played piano and synths for 45 years and in a previous life played keyboards with Australian 80s bands Pseudo Echo and Genuine Life, touring both nationally and internationally with each his experience spans the worlds of analog and digital gear including synths, samplers, drum machines, sequencers and effects. David is the Mannys acoustic guitars specialist having developed a love of timber from his years growing up in the wilds of England’s South West (where he was raised by a family of musically inclined badgers). When he’s not drooling over lists of acoustic guitar specs, David spends his time praying to the Telecaster Gods and even manages to discard some time with his family, when he can. He has been recording the sounds of Melbourne for nearly 20 years at Incubator Recording and Mastering. Prior to joining the team, Adrian had been shopping at Mannys since the store beginning opened in 1991. Adrian is qualified to bring this recording and music knowledge to help Mannys customers decide on the best gear for their needs. He also understands the musician (as well as this is possible), playing bass guitar as healthy as the mixing desk! Rob is a music enthusiast with an Audio Visual Technology background. A modest home studio owner he is very keen on making things fit, electric guitars play louder and hi tech equipment function correctly We're not sure whether he is a bigger fan of AC or DC electricity. He has everlasting been interested in overlapping his jazz roots with the realms of funk, rap and external space. Adam is the bandleader of Minneapolis style fusion band Lake Minnetonka, keyboardist in the experimental post genre group Glasfrosch, and is involved with many other freelance projects. There is never a dull moment in this ambitious warehouse. First with styles such as Progressive House, Nikki's taste in music has somewhat slowed down (only in BM) and he now enjoys more of a Techno convince in his world. Nikki can be found dding and supporting international acts around Melbourne as well as co running the ebbflo brand. Collecting vinyl vintage furniture to revitalize is also lofty on his dodo list.
